Admissions FAQs

Admissions Forms are at the bottom of this page.

When should I apply?
As soon as you can since spaces are limited for each grade. We are only accepting a maximum of ten students per grade for Toddler-1st grade and a maximum of twelve students for 2nd grade and up for academic school year.

How do I reserve a spot?
Each child must be assessed prior to acceptance for a nominal fee. Once the child is accepted the parents must pay the registration fee in advance to hold their spot and is non-refundable.

Admission Requirements
New students are required to take an entrance examination administered by the school. Students in Grades 2-5 are expected not to score more than 6 months below grade level to be admitted to the school. Students entering Kindergarten or Grade 1 must show sufficient readiness to enter that grade.

Children entering the program at age three are enrolled in Pre-School. After completing the first year, they will be promoted to Pre-Kindergarten. Only students who will be five years of age before September 1st will be permitted to enter the Kindergarten program. Their are no exceptions to this rule if the child's birthday is after September 1.

Proof of age, physical examination and immunization are required for all students entering Kindergarten. A readiness test will be given to each Kindergarten enrollee prior to acceptance.

First Grade students must be six years of age by September 1 of the same year and must present evidence of successful completion of Kindergarten. If a child has evidence to show completion of another Kindergarten Program and they turn six years of age after September 1, then they must pass our admission testing prior to being accepted into First Grade.

All new students are on probation for the first two months. Any student who shows special learning, behaviour, or study habit problems will not be able to continue in the school.
